Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) has announced a new joint venture with DnB Allstars, focusing on drum and bass talent.

DnB Allstars has cultivated a huge community of aficionados with a varied back catalog ranging from blissful liquid to jagged steppers. Key artists to emerge from DnB Allstars include Vibe Chemistry and Alcemist. Through this new joint venture, rising writers joining DnB Allstars and UMPG include emerging alt-R&B singer-songwriter Grace Barton; New Zealand-based vocalist and producer Elipsa; and seasoned party-starter Tsuki.

“I’m incredibly excited to start the next chapter of DnB Allstars alongside UMPG,” says Joshua Williams, creator of DnB Allstars, about the new joint venture. “We’re thrilled to be working with Dougie Bruce and the team to sign some of the best new and established artists and writers in the scene to shape the future of Drum and Bass.”

“Josh is a pioneer on the new wave DnB scene,” adds Dougie Bruce, Senior A&R Director, UMPG. “What he has achieved in such a short space of time across the label and his events sets a truly entrepreneurial standard in the genre. Adding publishing to his already successful business was a logical step for him and we are delighted that he chose UMPG to partner and growth with. His infectious nature and self-belief in the brand will ensure there will be many signings to DnB Allstars Publishing.”

The joint venture deal follows DnB Allstars’ success on the U.K. charts with hits like “Strangers” by Kenya Grace, topping the charts in October 2023. Meanwhile, the Hedex feature “Liquor & Cigarettes” hit #11 on the charts, while the Bou feature on “Baddadan” hit #18.

DnB Allstars 360 brought an all-star line-up to Birmingham for a Halloween rave that included Sub Focus, Bou, Friction, Turno, TNA, Disrupta, Kara, and more. Ravers from across the world head to the UK to for these events featuring rising artists.
