Spotify users have a new option to pay for the service: the platform’s newly-confirmed Family tier lets customers add up to four relatives to their account, all of whom will get 50% off the Spotify Premium fee.
We’ll do the maths for you: in total, a family of five will pay $29.99/£29.99 per month in a single payment.
Each Spotify Family user gets their own individual Premium account with independent streaming as well as separate playlists, recommendations and history. Spotify Family will roll out globally over the coming weeks.
