Simon Lewis, who has worked at the top of Live Nation‘s European operation for more than a decade, has left the company, MBW understands.
Before exiting Live Nation in the past few weeks, Lewis held the role of President of Sponsorship and Concerts for Live Nation Europe – and at one point was officially regarded as Live Nation Europe’s CEO.
Prior to this role, he held the position of President of Marketing Partnerships after joining the business in 2003.
Lewis built a team of sponsorship professionals who maximised platform’s including Live Nation’s festivals, venues and shows around Europe.
He started his career at Thames Television in 1987 where he worked until joining MTV networks in 1994. While at MTV, he was part of the team that launched VH1 in the UK and Europe.Music Business Worldwide
