Glassnote’s music publishing company Insieme has hired Sharon Tapper as Head of Publishing, based in the US.
Tapper comes to Insieme from Razor & Tie, where she held the role of SVP Music Publishing.
During her four-year tenure at Razor & Tie, she and her team were responsible for US hits and singles including four Country #1’s (Blake Shelton “God Gave Me You” & “Over”, Jake Shelton “Alone With You” and Tyler Farr “Whisky In My Water”), five times platinum-certified “Home” performed by American Idol Winner Phillip Phillips, Mary J Blige “Suitcase”, and Jessie J “Masterpiece”.

Prior to her experience at Razor & Tie, Tapper was VP of Creative at Kobalt for eight years and was their third US employee.
At Kobalt she was responsible for signing artists such as Slash, G Love, The Dresden Dolls, Gomez, Harry Connick Jr, Sharon Jones And The Dap Kings as well as publishers Arthouse, TVT, Red Bull Media, House of Hassle, Reservoir Media and Razor & Tie.
Additionally, since 2008 Sharon has been both a Governor and two-term Secretary of the Executive Committee of the New York Chapter of NARAS/The Recording Academy.
She continues to serve on both their Advocacy and Education Committees.
