Bad Bunny puts a brand-new album on the calendar with ‘Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana,’ the follow-up to his chart-topping ‘Un Verano Sin Ti,’ debuting this Friday, October 13.

In a surprise move that followed weeks of rumors, Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny drops an announcement for the debut of his latest album, “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana,” (“Nobody Knows What Will Happen Tomorrow”) releasing this Friday, October 13. The album is the much-anticipated follow-up to his chart-topping fourth studio album, “Un Verano Sin Ti,” (“A Summer Without You.”)

“El día más esperado por muchos ya llegó…” (“The day most anticipated by many has arrived…”) Bad Bunny writes in the caption of his Instagram post, a video teaser for the album. The ritzy teaser features the artist arriving at a busy restaurant, all eyes on him as he makes his way through the dining room. The camera pans to reveal his new haircut — a buzz-cut reminiscent of the one he sported during his 2018 debut.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, the singer said a lot of ‘70s music of all genres was inspiring him, and he was “playing around” and enjoying himself in creating new music. He clarified he wasn’t sure if that inspiration would “shape my music generally, or just one song.”

Before the new album, Bad Bunny’s latest release was a feature on Drake’s latest offering, “For All the Dogs.” He also launched a solo single, “Un Preview,” which appears on the upcoming album’s tracklist, at the time saying that it would probably be his last solo single of 2023. That song was unique in that he announced it using his WhatsApp channel when the feature debuted over the summer.

Bad Bunny was a fixture at this year’s Billboard Latin Music Awards, honored with several accolades, including his third year in a row as artist of the year. He performed a medley of his biggest hits, including “Titi Me Pregunto, “Me Porto Bonito,” “Moscow Mule,” and his latest single, “Un Preview.”
